I want to set my barber up for accepting crypto

So my barber has posted flyers all over his business saying that credit cards will no longer be accepted. I'd like to get him set up for accepting crypto and have been doing a lot of reading. His main focus is to save the $ 1000 monthly that credit cards/banks take every month.

He can easily open a wallet and customers can send him crypto by scanning his QR code. I don't care for Bitpay or Coinbase Commerce because I believe they both convert to fiat currency and take a 1 or 1-1/2% fee. That defeats the purpose. With a wallet he can just transfer his crypto to an exchange and sell it for the transaction fee (0.3% or so). No need for a wallet to do that.

A POS system running on a tablet would be nice but there are very few on the Apple App Store and they also want a cut. I did see the thread on BTCPay and that looks interesting. Perhaps I can set up a simple website/storefront with his menu items that he could access on a tablet.

I envision that at the end of each day he'll transfer his crypto to an exchange and sell it for USD. Or perhaps once per week. Then maybe twice monthly transfer the USD to his bank account.

Keeping in mind that low cost/fees is the goal: 1. What is the best wallet? 2. What is the best point of sale app if any? 3. What is the best exchange?

If someone developed a POS app for merchants and sold it for a one-time fee it would probably do very well. That's what I'm looking for but there doesn't appear to be any.
