Have started accepting Bitcoin as a payment in my shop in the Netherlands (Amsterdam) and my revenue almost doubled since! Go Bitcoin and the rest of crypto of course!

For your info: this is about my dad's store and he would like to keep himself private and does not want to use Reddit as promotion for his shop! He is just excited about what it did for his revenue and wanted to share that with you guys! Thanks for the understanding :)!

Bitcoin – The Currency of the Internet

The recent bitcoin crash proves the party is almost over – and I say that as someone who almost …

Bitcoin – The Currency of the Internet

Almost 5,000 bitcoiners have signed the Coinbase SegWit petition. Let’s get it to 10,000.

URL: https://www.change.org/p/coinbase-coinbase-prioritize-segwit-implementation-on-the-coinbase-bitcoin-wallet-gdax-exchange

Not happy with Coinbase dragging their feet on SegWit integration? Follow these steps:

  1. Sign the SegWit petition
  2. Use an alternative wallet/exchange that has implemented SegWit.
  3. Tweet @brian_armstrong and @coinbase and let them know you've signed the petition and have moved to an alternative provider.

Remember, this doesn't just affect customers of Coinbase, it affects the whole network. Not optimizing transactions (with SegWit and batching) inflates the fees for everyone else. This is irresponsible for such a large company in this growing industry.

Please do your "bit" and help make the issue known as best you can.

Thanks r/bitcoin
