Binance Exchange Founder Sued by VC Fund Sequoia Capital (news.bitcoin.com)

Sequoia Capital, a venture capital firm headquartered in Menlo Park, California is suing the Chinese founder of the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, Changpeng Zhao (better known as CZ). The American VC fund reportedly accuses CZ of allegedly negotiating with another firm while he signed an exclusivity agreement with Sequoia.

Binance Warned by Japan’s FSA, Criticizes Reporters (news.bitcoin.com)

The Nikkei Asian Review has reported that Japan’s financial regulator, the Financial Services Agency (FSA), has warned leading cryptocurrency exchange Binance that it will face criminal charges if it continues its Japanese operations without a license. Binance’s chief executive officer has described the report as “irresponsible,” stating that the exchange is engaging in “constructive” dialogue” with the FSA.
