I couldn’t find a concise tutorial on how to setup Bitcoin Core v0.14 on Raspberry Pi Zero or 1/2/3. Let’s say I have a brand new raspberry pi without any image flashed. What are the step by step instructions to get this thing running as a Bitcoin Core node? Assume I only have a 4GB SD card as I noticed that the new .14 version of Core has the ability to prune the blockchain all the way down to 500mb.
I want to run Armory on a USB with Tails persistence, to make offline transactions in a cold storage.
I followed this guide for downloading the offline bundle of dependencies.
I loaded the Tails USB and copied all the .deb packages to a folder called ‘armory’ on the desktop + the armory installation file.
Then I ran this in Terminal:
cd Desktop/armory sudo dpkg -i *.deb
And it didn’t work. It gave me a long list of errors.
I then manually went trough the following list of dependencies and downloaded them individually from Debian, because I thought the problem was, that the guides offline bundle was outdated (it is written for Tails 1.3, and my current version of Tails is 2.3).
This is the list of dependencies I individually downloaded:
python-crypto python-openssl python-psutil python-pyasn1 python-twisted python-twisted-bin python-twisted-conch python-twsited-core python-twisted-lore python-twisted-mail python-twisted-names python-twisted-news python-twisted-runner python-twisted-web python-twisted-words
But when running:
sudo dpkg -i *.deb
… it gives me errors on all of these:
dpkg: error processing package python-twisted-lore (--install): dependency problems - leaving unconfigured Processing triggers for gnome-menus (3.13.3-6) ... Processing triggers for desktop-file-utils (0.22-1) ... Processing triggers for mime-support (3.58) ... Processing triggers for man-db (220.127.116.11-5) ... The log has more above that, though. Here’s one example:
Preparing to unpack armory_0.93.3_ubuntu-32bit.deb ... Unpacking armory (0.93.3-1) over (0.93.3-1) ... dpkg: error processing archive python-crypto_2.6.1-5+b2_amd64.deb (--install): package architecture (amd64) does not match system (i386)
